im 7 and i hit my drive 320 yards everytime…. lol im just messing..i just hate when i see 40 year olds act like 6 year old PGA players on message boards…good video.. i always transfer from right to left laterally through the ball.. but i will try to keep my hinge off my back foot and see what happens.

You are not that far off. There is NO WAY the swing that I used for the driver demonstration went anything past 250 yards! At no point in the video did I say “I hit that drive 300 yds!” That being said, it’s just yet another way to swing the club.

Funny thing about golf….you do it long enough and you find there is no one way to do it right. I just recover from the drive, TRY to get it up on 1, 2 putt and I’m good. I pay out my lost bets and they buy me a beer…..

There was nothing …
There was nothing wrong with this guy’s information for the amateur player, and he did have good clubhead speed and lag. The ball position was perfect, but may not have looked it from the camera angle. It was just off his forward heel, and his head stayed well behind the ball at impact. This is good info, and will actually straighten up some 10+ handicappers. Have fun.

one thing i think …
one thing i think people should keep in mind. the people with the best ability in any sport are often NOT players.
there is an old saying…those who cant DO, TEACH.
why do i care how much money he makes…if i spend 15 bucks on 2 buckets of balls and follow his instructions AND hit the ball 300 yards….do i really care if he is a tour pro or a club hack?!
have you seen tigger trees take time out to make an instructional video? thats what I thought.
